LAS VEGAS — Turbo Wholesale Tires L.L.C. has forged a pair of partnerships in the tire industry — with CMA L.L.C./Double Coin L.L.C. and VogueTyre & Rubber Co.
Both were announced during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
CMA L.L.C./Double Coin has agreed to produce a line of radial truck/bus tires tires under Turbo's proprietary Rolling Big Power (RBP) brand. The new RBP TBR line will have 40 sizes, backed by a three-retread warranty and a first 50% of tread life workmanship guarantee.
The tires will ship early in 2024. The partners did not say where Double Coin will produce the RBP, but the company has factories in China and Thailand.
Turbo Wholesale Tires' CEO Phillip Kane said there wasn't a question about which company he wanted to partner with as the tire distributor enters the truck/bus tire market.
"That's why we chose to partner with Double Coin. And we couldn't be happier about it," Kane said.
Aaron Murphy, senior vice president of Double Coin said both companies share a spirit of innovation and progress.
"We are proud to join forces and be selected as the manufacturing partner for Turbo Wholesale Tire's Rolling Big Power truck tire."
Meanwhile, Turbo Wholesale will now distribute Vogue-branded tires through its growing wholesale network. Vogue is credited with inventing the whitewall tire, a design that put the company on the map.
Kevin Goyak, executive vice president of Vogue Tyre, said the company is looking forward to Turbo distribute "our distinctive lineup of tires in the replacement marketplace.
"Vogue Tyre has been at the cutting edge of performance design and technology and has become the tire of choice for high-end vehicles and the discriminating motorists including celebrities and professional athletes," he said.
Kane said Turbo Wholesale is "thrilled to be representing Vogue Tyres across our growing footprint. Their unique lineup of tires is a great match up with our customer base that sells well to discerning end consumers."
The Vogue lineup will be available from Turbo on Jan. 1.
