PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — TBC Corp. is rolling out the latest iteration of its Wild Trail all-terrain light-truck/SUV tire line, the All-Terrain XT, as an upgrade over the previous version, which has been on the market since 2015.
Featuring an "aggressive" tread design with 3D micro sipes, the tire delivers all-surface traction and "rugged" durability required for all-terrain use, TBC said. Designed to accept optional metal studs, the All-Terrain XT provides additional grip and support in winter for drivers of pickups and SUVs.
TBC plans to have 33 metric and LT sizes available by year-end, covering 15- to 20-inch rim diameters, including 11 metric/P-metric sizes, 11 LT sizes and the rest flotation sizes. Of these, 17 SKUs are available now.
Sizes will start at 235/75R15 and run through 35x12.50R20LT.
TBC is offering a 50,000-mile (80,000-kilometer) limited treadwear warranty as well as its 30-day test drive coverage.
Jon Vance, senior vice president of product marketing for TBC, called the new line a "compelling value proposition of quality, performance and affordability."
The line — produced in Thailand by Svizz One Corp. Ltd. — is offered through a number of TBC's brand channels, including Delta, ElDorado and Multi-Mile.
TBC did not disclose any pricing information.
