LAS VEGAS — Sentury Tire USA Inc. hopes to grab some attention in 2020 with its Execu-Con custom Jeep build, which the importer/distributor plans to use to promote its Landsail Rogueblazer R/T line of tires.
"The Landsail Execu-Con is an executive-level build that sets the standard for luxury trail runners," Maxwell Wee, executive vice president of Sentury Tire USA, said.
"We can't thank our industry partners enough for helping to bring this project to reality at the 2019 SEMA Show."
Sentury's Landsail Tire brand worked with HTW Motorsports and AudioLab Stereo and Video Centers Inc. on the build for Sentury's booth at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas Nov. 5-8.
Sentury's partners used an S&B intake and Magnaflow exhaust to modify the 2019 Jeep Gladiator that came from Dennis Dillion Automotive in Idaho.
The F load-rated Rogueblazer R/T tires are built with a puncture-guard sidewall, stable shoulder design for the highways and engineered grooves to combat any weather conditions, Sentury said.
The Execu-Con features a Pedal Commander throttle control system, and AFE Power differential covers were added to keep temps down and the differentials working at a optimal level.
The exterior was fitted with Hammerhead bumpers, a Warn winch, and a retractable side-step by AMP Research. Vorstiner and Venomrex carbon fiber enhance the body, and the paint was given a linear graphic wrap by GR Wraps. Lighting was enhanced with Xprite products, and a "battle sounding" horn was strapped into place by Hornblasters.
For suspension integrity, the kit was installed by Icon Dynamics.
The Gladiator also features Alpha by Fittipaldi wheels, which were chosen for their strength, weight and "executive feel," the company said.
"The debut of the Execu-Con at SEMA was a success," Mr. Wee said. "The ongoing objective will be to use it in our 2020 marketing efforts, year-round."
Miami-based Sentury Tire USA is a subsidiary of Sentaida Group Co. Ltd., based in Qingdao, Shandong, China. It also handles the Delinte, Groundspeed and Sentury brand names.
