SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Grupo Morsa de México S.A. de C.V., a Mexican distributor of automotive parts, is joining Auto Value, an independent group selling automotive products through a network of distribution centers, parts stores and service centers.
Based in Sinaloa, Mexico, Grupo Morso operates 27 warehouses spanning 14 states in Mexico providing automotive, battery, and diesel parts. The company does most of its business through its electronic commerce site Morsa Click.
John Washbish, president and CEO of Auto Value promoter Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc., called Grupo Morsa a "fantastic fit" for the Auto Value alliance.

Grupo Morsa was founded in 1978 by Alfonso Vazquez, whose son and daughter now run the company.
Auto Value is an independent member network of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc., a distribution and marketing group based in San Antonio. The alliance said it provides parts and service for stores and repair shops in North America, Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Columbia, Europe and China.
The organization includes more than 140 distribution centers, 2,3000 parts stores and 3,500 service centers.
