LOS ANGELES — Prinx Chengshan Tire North America Inc. has expanded its line of Fortune Tormenta LMD FSR103 light-truck tires, adding nine sizes to the product designed for the last-mile delivery (LMD) vehicle segment.
The product is an all-weather commercial light-truck tire designed for use on commercial vans and pickup trucks. According to Prinx Chengshan, the 3-Peak Mount Snowflake-rated product has "exceptional tear resistance" and performs well in all conditions.
Sizes available cover 15- to 18-inch rim diameters, Prinx said.
Ken Coltrane, vice president of marketing and product development for Prinx's Fortune Tires brand, said with the expansion in sizes, the line "is a valuable addition to any fleet tire inventory, and it is our goal to further enhance its appeal to commercial vehicle operator. We are committed to the continued growth and profitability for our tre dealers."

Los Angeles-based Prinx Tire North America is a subsidiary of China's Prinx Chengshan Tire Co. Ltd., which goes to market with four brands: Austone, Chengshan, Fortune and Prinx.
The Rongcheng, China-based firm sources most of its products from a three-year-old factory in Chonburi, Thailand. The company only recently launched a similar product in the Prinx brand, the Prinx Hifleet HL1.
