CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Coker Tire Co. is adding Dunlop Sport Classic radials to its portfolio of tires for owners of vintage European sports cars and some classic American muscle cars from the 1950s through the 1980s.
The Dunlop Sport Classic product line features 15 sizes, with fitments for 13-, 14- and 15-inch rim diameter wheels and covering 60- to 80-series aspect ratios and tread widths ranging from 155mm to 215mm. This range includes direct fitments for Jaguar XK-E, Aston Martin, Austin Healey and other European sports cars, Coker said.
Drawing on Dunlop's racing expertise, Coker Tire said the Sport Classic tires are speed rated and ready for action.
Goodyear owns the rights to the Dunlop brand throughout most of the world, including the vintage sector. It launched the Sport Classic range in 2017 to meet the needs of classic car drivers and optimized for high-performance vehicles of the 1960s, '70s and '80s.
Prices start at $198 for size 165/80R15 and range up to $458 for size 205/70VR15.
Coker is handling just the Sport Classic and Sport Aquajet lines. Other Dunlop vintage lines are handled in the U.S. by Lucas Classic Tires and Universal Tire.
Coker only recently added the Avon brand to its portfolio for European sports cars and U.S. muscle cars.
