Two more Chapel Hill Tire stores earn ASE Blue Seal

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Two more Chapel Hill Tire stores earned the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, bringing to more than half of the dealership's locations awarded the distinction.

The stores on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill and in Carrboro, N.C., earned the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) award which recognizes automotive facilities with at least 75% of a shop's technicians ASE-certified and each service area covered by a certified professional.

Only 1,500 shops nationwide hold the distinction.

With six of its 11 locations now boasting the Blue Seal, Chapel Hill Tire said it further solidifies its commitment to exceptional service and sets a new benchmark for quality in the region.

"This certification is a testament to our technicians' expertise and our ongoing commitment to providing top-notch service," President of Chapel Hill Tire President Marc Pons said.

"We're particularly grateful to Mike Storey, our director of training, whose dedication to preparing our technicians for the ASE exams has been instrumental in this success."

Chris Whitehead, manager of the Franklin Street location, attributed the achievement to his team.

"Earning the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence is a significant milestone for our team. It reflects our teamwork, dedication, and the high standards we set for ourselves every day. I am incredibly proud of our technicians and their commitment to excellence," he said.

Juan Toro, manager of the Carrboro location, added: "Receiving the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence is a great honor for our team. It demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest quality service. I'm proud of our technicians for their hard work and dedication."

Chapel Hill Tire, a family-owned business founded in 1953, operates 11 retail locations in the Triangle area. The dealership specializes in servicing all makes and models, with a particular focus on hybrid vehicles.
