SAN DIEGO — Snap-on Inc.'s Mitchell 1 auto repair software now provides comprehensive coverage for the majority of electric and hybrid vehicles on the market.
Mitchell 1's ProDemand auto repair information now offers access to factory-direct repair, diagnostic and maintenance information for these vehicles, including Tesla, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Kia, Hyundai and the Volkswagen Group, including Audi and Porsche.
"We are proud to expand our coverage for EVs and hybrid vehicles to include all the major brands, so our subscribers can quickly access the critical data they need to perform fast and accurate repairs," said Nick DiVerde, senior director, product management for Mitchell 1.
"We now cover 98% of all EVs and hybrids, making ProDemand the clear choice when working on these types of vehicles."
With ProDemand, shops can get access to OEM repair information and expert-based Real Fixes from SureTrack in a single lookup, the company said.
Other features include:
• 1Search Plus, a search engine that provides technicians with access to a database of vehicle repair, including OEM procedures, TSBs, wiring diagrams and specifications;
• Advanced Interactive Wiring Diagrams; and
• ADAS Quick Links, giving technicians a view of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) on a vehicle for diagnosing, repairing and calibrating vehicles with ADAS sensors.
