ST. LOUIS — Hunter Engineering Co. is releasing a comprehensive ADAS Coverage Guide, designed to give easily accessible static and dynamic calibration coverage to service advisers and customers.
The new guide will be updated twice a year to keep up with the changing ADAS market and covers hundreds of vehicle models from 2006 through the present, Hunter said.
Service advisors can use the guide to identify needed ADAS calibrations or resets before writing up the work order, allowing shops to avoid the perception of discovering additional work once the vehicle is actually on the alignment rack.
Each page of the user-friendly guide feature a full reference key and is color-coded for quick visual reference.
The guide designates the Hunter ADAS equipment needed to complete the work, including Hunter's Ultimate ADAS, ADASLink scan tool and DAS 3000 static calibration fixture. Mechanical wheel alignment adjustments and steering system resets are also included.
The new guide complements Hunter's 1708-T Alignment Guide, which also will continue to be updated periodically.
Current Hunter customers can access the guide via the HunterNet 2 online portal or contact their local Hunter team to obtain a printed version.
