AKRON — Goodyear's Fleet HQ program has handled 5 million service events across North America, the company announced Jan. 29.
The service management program supports some of the largest fleets in the U.S. and Canada, helping them to identify maintenance and preventative service, as well as responding to emergency situations.
Fleet HQ expanded from an emergency roadside tire breakdown service into a full-service platform by enhancing its mechanical services, automating service coordination and integrating conversational artificial intelligence (AI). Interactive dashboard reporting allows fleets to view service events in real time, and Goodyear gathers feedback to improve the service, it said.
"Fleet HQ consistently evolves to meet the growing demands of the commercial industry and uncovers new opportunities to reduce costs and downtime," Joe Burke, vice president, Goodyear North America Commercial, said.
A network of more than 2,300 service providers including Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers (CTSC) and independent dealers, support Fleet HQ. Goodyear markets Fleet HQ as a way for fleets to keep operations running smoothly and while reducing costs and downtime.
"Fleet HQ has transformed how we handle tire issues," Veron Wright of Ryder-Roadside said. "Its streamlined processes create efficiencies that free up valuable time and resources, allowing us to focus on other critical areas of our business."
