LEESBURG, Va. — The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has been commissioned to conduct a series of studies to identify and understand which repair tasks automotive service technicians perform most frequently.
The initial survey is focused on gasoline engine repair tasks. The survey answers will help drive the content of technical training and certification standards across the industry, the ASE said.
Participants do not need to be ASE-certified to take the survey. Participants will be included in a random drawing for five $500 Snap-on gift cards.
