FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Akebono Brake Corp. has named Erick Kinnunen its new regional sales manager.
Kinnunen brings 40 years of aftermarket sales, training and management experience to the position, the company said.
While he spent the last 20 years at KYB Corp. leading training initiatives, his enthusiasm for the aftermarket started as a kid helping his grandfather restore cars.
"I am excited to join Akebono Brake Corporation and look forward to driving success through dedication and a deep passion for the automotive aftermarket," Kinnunen said. "Every customer deserves a choice, and I am committed to ensuring they have the best options available."
Outside of work, Kinnunen enjoys time with his family and friends, mountain biking and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.
