VERNON HILLS, Ill. — ZF Aftermarket has slated a series of vehicle service training sessions across the U.S. during the second quarter.
The 2023 training marks the return of in-person training that was interrupted during the pandemic. ZF Aftermarket said its experts trained more than 500 technicians in the first quarter.
The ZF Mobile Training Center, in partnership with SSF Auto Parts and Worldpac, will host training sessions in:
- Atlanta on May 20
- Miami on June 10
- Dallas on July 29.
Additionally, ZF Aftermarket will host a ZF 8P hybrid transmission class at ZF's Vernon Hills location on April 29. The class will consist of a hands-on transmission disassembly and on-vehicle diagnostics of a BMW X5 hybrid, and participants will perform an oil change on the hybrid transmission.
In addition to the training, ZF reported that it expanded its parts offerings in the first quarter for vehicles in the U.S. and Canada, adding 116 new listings to its ZF, Lemförder, SACHS, TRW and WABCO brand portfolios. The latest additions expand coverage to approximately 26.3 million vehicles in operation.
New products include a range of high-quality OE braking, suspension and steering components for Ford, Dodge Hyundai, Toyota and other vehicle models, as well as ZF Lifeguard E-fluids for BMW and Mercedes-Benz hybrid vehicles.
