VIP builds on success at managers conference

AUBURN, Maine — VIP Tires & Service held its annual VIP Mangers Conference in late August in an effort take the company's workplace culture to new heights and keep "Building on the Best."

The annual conference, held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine, offered employee training, networking and awards. VIP leadership updated managers on the company's current and new product offerings, as well as touched on personal performance, training and certifications, teamwork, and the VIP brand as a whole.

"The goal of the conference was to reaffirm VIP's strong, healthy workplace culture," VIP said.

Managers participated in a range of team-building activities, such as a raffle and auction night, dinners, receptions and golf outings. VIP handed our awards to " exemplary managers, who serve as role models to their peers."

In addition to recognizing its various sponsors, VIP also highlighted the company's longstanding partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. VIP has partnered with the organization since 2008, with employees donating more than $1 million and helping grant more than 140 wishes to children throughout New England.
