CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Software developer Tireweb Marketing Pty. Ltd. is partnering with Openbay Inc. to incorporate Openbay's recently launched AI-powered virtual service adviser into its website solutions to provide a more personalized online experience.
Incorporating Openbay's "Otis" virtual service adviser feature into Tireweb's Ezytire online marketing will help customers — tire retailers, distributors, independent repair shops, mobile mechanics, etc. — "have even more effective digital solutions for their website development and internet marketing needs," Tireweb Managing Director Matthew Walker said.
"The automotive service industry has been historically slow to adopt cutting-edge technologies involved with online customer engagement," Openbay CEO Rob Infantino said. This new partnership will help "speed up adoption of newer technology to deliver an accurate, more human and personalized experience when inquiring about automotive services."
By using AI technology and natural language processing, Openbay Otis understands human language and responds in the same to deliver a more personalized online experience 24/7, the new partners said.
Among those using Tireweb's ezytire technology are BJ's Wholesale Club, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, OneClickTires, Tire Outlet and Chabill's Tire & Auto Service, Tireweb said.
New York-based Tireweb Marketing specializes in developing retail and ecommerce software for the tire and wheel industry in North America.
Cambridge-based Openbay is a provider of software-as-a-service solutions for the automotive aftermarket.
