BOWIE, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is offering an in-person Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) training class Dec. 13-16 in Brooksville, Fla.
Targeted at earthmover tire technicians, the class offers comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools and a variety of equipment that can aid technicians in servicing tires.
Topics covered include: service truck operation; preventative maintenance training (service truck, crane, compressor, etc.); site preparation and equipment; hydraulic tool operation and maintenance; service one-, three- and five-piece (on machine and loose); wheel and rim fastening systems; and wheel inspection.
Class sessions will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays. Students successfully completing a final exam will receive a certificate of completion.
