      Hofmann geoliner 590 Mobile Alignment System

    CONWAY, Ark. — Snap-on Inc. has upgraded some key Hofmann-brand alignment-related equipment that it's pitching as an affordable "full-alignment solution" when used together.

    The new products are the Hofmann geoliner 590 Mobile Wheel Alignment System and Hofmann 12K 4-Post Alignment Lift System.

    "Using these two new Hofmann alignment products together is a difference maker for shops performing wheel alignments," Jordan Krebs, Hofmann product manager, said, "and will allow them to operate efficiently, while realizing increased performance and profitability."

    The Hofmann 12K 4-Post Alignment Lift System can be used on a range of vehicles from compact cars to heavy-duty pickups, the company said. The lift system, which is rated at up to 12,000 pounds of lifting capacity, is designed to fit into a small space, Snap-on said.

    The system offers:

    • four-wheel alignment capabilities that cover a full range of vehicle requirements;
    • 20.5-inch-wide "Pro-Style" runways; and
    • a closed front-end design to maintain a shake-free lift for advanced alignment equipment measurements.

    The Hofmann geoliner 590 aligner with Windows 10 features a wireless communication system with Bluetooth technology and cordless pods offering mobility and flexibility, the company said.

    The geoliner 590 also includes Hofmann's "EZ-TOE" feature for electric power steering, which turns the front wheels and helps access difficult adjustment points, while displaying centered toe readings.

    The system also features ride-height measurement to obtain proper alignment specs and an array of OEM specs for vehicle selection, the company said.
