Some 2004-06 Chrysler Pacifica models may emit a click or pop from the front hub(s) when the transmission is shifted from drive to reverse, from reverse to drive, or while turning and accelerating from a stop.
According to Chrysler, poor lubrication at the front axle/hub interface is the most likely cause for the noise. Installing a new rubber gasket, part No. 04809863AB, between the outer CV joint and hub bearing should eliminate the condition.
