SAN DIEGO — Mitchell Repair Information Co. L.L.C. is launching a free webinar series that offers courses covering the most popular topics from its two-day Mitchel 1 Shop Management Workshop.
The webinar series, called "Master Your Mitchell 1 Shop Management Software," will be available through May 12 and focus on best practices, guiding users through the functionality of the Mitchell 1 Manager SE shop management system.
Customers will learn new features, as well as tips, tricks and shortcuts that might help save time, improve accuracy and keep cars moving through their bays.
According to Mitchell 1, the curriculum is intended for users of Manager SE looking to enhance their skills with the shop management software.
Topics to be covered include:
- Successful Shop Setup with Manager SE – Parts 1 and 2;
- Write it Right with Manager SE – Parts 1 and 2;
- Manager SE Enhanced Features – Parts 1 and 2; and
- Manage Your Business with manager SE and reporting.
The specific webinar topics and dates are:
April 21 — Systems updates / user lists / WIP setup with colors / systems setup thru Shop Data;
April 23 — Systems setup standard tables through standard descriptions system backup / system security;
April 28 — Customer screen / vehicle lookup / symptoms / tech worksheets / recommendations / order labor entry / discounts & coupons;
April 30 — History screen & finding history / scheduler;
May 5 — Order entry – parts / parts kits / canned jobs / promos;
May 7 — Parts catalog integration / purchase orders / ordering parts with parts links;
May 12 — Overview part 7: reports
