BARBERTON, Ohio — JohnDow Industries Inc. has introduced tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) retrofit sensors for trailers and other vehicles, as well as an oil-container drainer and a static grounding reel.
For vehicles and applications where TPMS does not come standard, such as trailers, ATVs, RVs, motorcycles and heavy-duty vehicles, JohnDow has developed Dynamic Retrofit Sensors.
The TPMS sensors, available in external and internal options, allow users to receive real-time tire-pressure and tire-temperature data, when tires are significantly underinflated, to avoid unsafe driving conditions.
With the smartphone app, users can add as many sensors as needed up to 36 sensors, along with setting up app profiles for numerous vehicles/applications.
Additionally, the Dynamic BLE TPMS Repeater increases the overall distance up to 30 feet for longer trailers or when dealing with metal interference. With no pairing needed, the Repeater installs with two wires near the back of the hauling vehicle, the company said.
The Oil Container Drainer allows shops to drain oil bottles safely before recycling by placing bottles upside down on the Oil Container Drainer pegs. The heavy-duty, steel drainer connects to a drum to provide a safe way to drain and dispose excess oil from bottles, the company said.
The Static Grounding Reel provides a safe solution with its low retraction, a ratchet-locking mechanism and auto-release during wire over-stretching to maintain safety.
With three mounting options, the Static Grounding Reel is useful for refueling stations, fuel tanks, stationary and mobile fuel delivery trucks, maintenance/industrial industries, aviation refueling, and any hazardous areas with potentially dangerous static electricity, the company said.
