Drivers of some 2008-11 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis or Lincoln Town Car models may complain of a slight leak at the transmission cooler assembly.
Ford says the leak typically occurs at the tube area near the top left portion of the cooler, and is due to design problems that surfaced during the manufacturing process.
Installing an improved transmission cooler/condenser core assembly, part No. BW7Z-19712-A, should eliminate the leakage complaint.
