Owners of some 2008-13 Audi models (complete list below) may complain of an irritating squeak or squeal from the front brakes on light-to-moderate pedal application.
One likely cause for the noise, reports Audi, is a sticking condition between the brake calipers and caliper supports. Applying a newly developed anti-seize lubricant, part #G052560A2, to the caliper support guide pins in the areas indicated in the illustration should help alleviate the condition.
Vehicles that are prone to the brake noise and can benefit from the new brake lubricant are 2008-13 A5 sedans, 2009-13 A4 sedans, 2010-13 A5 cabriolets and 2012-13 A6 sedans.
