Chrysler says that the cruise control systems on some 2011-13 Dodge Challenger and 2013 Dodge Viper and Dart models may be slow to respond or not activate at all when commanded by the switch.
According to the car maker, one likely cause is software issues in the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM).
Flashing the SCCM with updated software is the only true fix. Check with a dealer for the specifics of the flash.
