Some 2008-10 Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger models with 2.4-liter engines and four-speed automatics may illuminate the check engine light and store trouble code P2270 (post-cat oxygen sensor biased lean) in PCM memory.
If there are no drivability issues associated with the P2270 and there are no other codes stored, it's likely bogus and caused by software anomalies in the PCM, Chrysler said.
Reprogramming the module with updated software is the only remedy. Check with a dealer for the specifics of the flash.
