DALLAS — Digital workflow and communication service autotext.me has added a new service reminder feature to its text messaging feature.
The service reminders are aimed at promoting repeat business and giving clients receive relevant, helpful reminders.
The new service reminder function will "enable shops to focus more on the work, while our software queues the follow-ups," Chris Cloutier, autotext.me counder and co-owner of Golden Rule Auto Care, said. "Combined with our rainy day, follow-up, and appointment reminders, shops are equipped with a simple, automated tool to both look after their clients and keep business flowing through their bays."
The AI powered service reminders detect when services — including oil changes, state inspections, and tire rotations — are due and populates them into the service reminder queue.
Service advisors can see everything on one screen and use it to review and decide which reminders are scheduled. Administrators can create customized and default templates that work for most clients, as well as personalize messages to reflect the culture and communication style of their shop.
Autotext.me "delivers digital solutions for workflow management, communication, vehicle inspections, work orders, quality control, and rewarding customer loyalty," according to the company.
The program integrates with a variety of shop management systems and is designed to help shops operate efficiently and provide lasting customer service.
