WOODRIDGE, Ill. — The Automotive Maintenance & Repair Association/Motorists Assurance Program (AMRA/MAP) will hold its annual membership meeting Oct. 30 in Las Vegas prior to the opening of the SEMA Show and Automotive Aftermarket Parts Exposition (AAPEX).
The trade group — an alliance of automotive professionals responsible for standards that deliver peace of mind to motorists — will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Venetian/Palazzo hotel complex, Rooms 3403-3503 on Level 3, with a cocktail reception to follow.
Lisa Foshee, senior vice president/government affairs and general counsel for the Auto Care Association (ACA), will deliver a keynote on the status of right-to-repair legislation.
Registration is $100 a head for AMRA members, who have the opportunity to invite one non-member for free under the group's "Bring a Friend" promotion. This invitation supports AMRA's "Many Voices One Future Initiative," which seeks to broaden the association's membership base.
To register, see the AMRA/MAP site.
