TULUM, Mexico — Retread supplier Borrachas Vipal S/A celebrated its Vipal Authorized Network partners in Mexico and Central America at a meeting at the Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya hotel in November.
Vipal International Business ManagerGilson Dugno opened the event by thanking Vipal's ongoing partners and welcoming two new members of the network in Mexico, retreader Revishé, headquartered in the city of Puebla, and SuperRuedas, headquartered in Guadalajara.
"We are immensely proud of the partnerships we have established and thank the retreaders who trust Vipal's products, quality, and services to develop their businesses," Dugno said. "We have a brand and products that are highly respected in the market, which enable everyone to offer their customers the best in the world when it comes to tyre retreading and repairs."
Jean Barros, commercial manager in Mexico and Central America, spoke about the recovery of the tire retreadng marketing in the region and the growing number of integrated partners.
"It is an enormous satisfaction to see the retreaders of the Vipal Authorized Network together again. We are already approaching 20 years of Vipal presence in Mexico, and our partnerships are getting stronger and more solid," he said. "The long-standing commercial relations are proof of mutual trust and that we are on the right track."
Mexican Llantas Compañía (Llanco) was highlighted as a partner in the region that purchased the most Vipal products, receiving an award for that disctinction for the second year in a row.
"This recognition is the result of the work of the entire Llanco team, offering a high-quality retreaded tire, as well as excellent technical and fleet management services," Llanco General Director Francisco Lopez Stille said. "The technology and quality of Vipal products are the differential so that we can offer the best options to our customers with the best mileage performance on the market."
The event also received new network retreaders and celebrated the longest-lasting partnerships.
Vipal ended its celebration with a dinner in the hotel ballroom where it presented plaques to partners who hit milestones. Retreaders Vigusa, based in Aguas Calientes, El Aguila, located in Chihuahua, and Avenida, in Durango, received recognition for 15 years as a member of the network. SPRL, from Mexicali, Remi, from Costa Rica, Llafrisa, from El Salvador, and Refrillantas, from Honduras, were recognized with 10-year plaques as Vipal partnerships.
