FALLS CHURCH, Va. — The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) has redesigned its website, retread.org, showcasing a modern interface that includes features tailored to meet the evolving needs of TRIB members, the tire retread and repair industry at large, and fleets, government agencies and the public.
One of the highlights of the redesigned website is the introduction of a Retread Environmental Savings Calculator, according to the association. The tool empowers users to quantify the environmental benefits of using retreaded versus new tires.
Users can see the gallons of oil saved, the pounds of waste diverted from landfills and the energy savings generated by adopting retreading, TRIB said.
"The Retread Environmental Savings Calculator underscores TRIB's dedication to promoting eco-conscious solutions and driving awareness of the environmental advantages of tire retreading," TRIB said.
The redesigned TRIB website also features a Career Opportunities page, facilitating connections between industry professionals and employment opportunities.
TRIB members can use the platform to find and attract skilled technicians, sales representatives or managerial staffs. Job seekers, on the other hand, gain access to a diverse array of career opportunities within the tire retread and repair community, TRIB said.
This service is free for all TRIB members.
