VIENNA, Va. — Virginia Tire & Auto has opened its fourth retail store this year, an 11-bay location in Vienna's Tysons neighborhood, expanding the dealership's reach to 17 stores throughout northeastern Virginia.
The new store, a former Merchant's Tire & Auto location that Virginia Tire took over and renovated, is the dealership's second store opening this year in the Vienna area. Tysons is an unincorporated community just east of Vienna in Fairfax County, with a population of about 19,000.
Virginia Tire Co-CEO Julie Holmes called 2019 an "exciting year" for our the dealership, capped off by the addition of the Tysons location.
"We are proud of our recent growth and grateful to the communities of Vienna, Herndon and Chesterfield for welcoming us this year."
Mike Holmes, Julie's husband and Co-CEO of Virginia Tire, graduated from James Madison High School in Vienna, and the couple live in Vienna with their five children.
"It is especially meaningful to now have two Virginia Tire & Auto locations in our hometown," Mr. Holmes said. "Given that we live in Vienna, we've had a front-row view of the rapid transformation of Tysons, and we believe that Virginia Tire & Auto's clean, high-tech shops and staff of true car care professionals will be coveted by those who live and work in Tysons."
