VIP Tires held a customer appreciation event on July 10 at the Waterbury location, kicking off two promotions running from July 10 to Aug. 21: $50 off any service of $100 or more and "Oil Changes for Education," with any Valvoline oil change offered for just $10 and all proceeds going to Waterbury Public Schools.
Auburn, Maine-based VIP operates more than 70 locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Each store is staffed with Tire Industry Association-certified automotive professionals.
Rich Dibeneditto, Waterbury store manager and former owner of Joe's Tire Shop said it was "nice to reward our customers and give back to the local community that has supported us as Joe's Tire Shop and now as VIP Tires & Service."
He said that "serving customers isn't just about doing our jobs; we also want to go the extra mile. We are excited to bring VIP's Oil Changes for Education program to Waterbury to support the local school system."
