VIP supports Make-A-Wish Foundation with donation

AUBURN, Maine — VIP Tires & Service donated more than $164,000 in 2022 to Make-A-Wish Foundation of America chapters across New England, bringing the dealership's donation total over recent years to more than $1 million, the company announced.

In 2022, VIP donated funds to Make-A-Wish chapters throughout New England, including new record-level donations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children facing critical illness. The non-profit organization has granted more than 520,000 wishes worldwide since its inception in 1980.

During VIP's "Season of Wishes" campaign, VIP customers and employees raised more than $82,000, a total matched by John Quirk, VIP executive chairman and owner, bringing the total donations to just over $164,000.

VIP, a privately held automotive service provider with over 67 locations and more than 600 employees, said the company is "a firm believer in the supporting organizations that make a true difference in people's lives" and that they enjoy doing right by their local communities.
