PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — In honor of National Nurses Week (May 6-12), two Tire Kingdom locations in Hillsborough County, Fla., provided lunch to workers at the Brandon Surgery Center in Brandon, Fla.
Tire Kingdom employees at stores in Brandon and Riverview showed their appreciation to the hospital workers by serving more than 100 lunches. Tire Kingdom purchased lunch as part of parent company TBC Corp.'s #TBCDrivenToGive initiative.
"We wanted to express our gratitude and honor the team at Brandon Surgery Center and say, 'Thank You' for the job they do each and every day," said Shelby Bolen, store manager of the Brandon location.
The Tire Kingdom team delivered lunch and shared exclusive discounts on tires and service for all nurses, medical, first responders and employees of the COVID-19 essential business, which includes:
• $18.99 conventional oil change (plus a $3 disposal fee);
• $20 off high-mileage/ synthetic blend and full synthetic oil changes;
• 20% off service; and
• 10% off tires.
TBC employees throughout the organization, spanning retail, franchise, wholesale, distribution, ecommerce and corporate, had the opportunity to extend their appreciation to nurses during National Nurses Week through a letter writing initiative with United Way of Palm Beach County, the company said.
