Four panelists to discuss counter culture on TB livestream

AKRON — Four expert panelists from across the U.S. will share valuable tips on how to "Enhance your Counter Culture" during a special livestream on Tuesday, Aug. 31, presented by Tire Business.

The panelists will discuss how staff at automotive tire and service shops should handle today's customers.

What are some of the basic techniques and practices that often get overlooked? How have things changed over the last five years? How do you help train employees to improve in this area?

The panelists (in alphabetical order), include:

• John Arnold, consumer tire education content development manager for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations L.L.C. Mr. Arnold has spent decades educating dealers on consumer-focused service.
• Craig Bruneel, president of Bruneel Point S Tire & Auto Service, which operates 11 locations in Idaho. Bruneel is celebrating its 55th year in business.
• Bob Kelly, a region manager at New England-based Sullivan Tire & Auto Service,which operates 75 locations that do more than $150 million in total sales annually. Sullivan has stores in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
• Frank Kneller, CEO of Phoenix-based Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc., formerly known as GB Auto. Mr. Kneller oversees more than 200 automotive aftermarket retail locations in Texas, Oklahama, Arizona, Nevada and California.

Tire Business Editor Don Detore and Senior Reporter Kathy McCarron will moderate the hour-long session, which will begin at 2 p.m. EST. The livestream will culminate with a live question-and-answer session.
