NEW YORK — Inc. magazine has ranked online tire retailer Tire Agent Corp. and GTT Commercial Tires among the 5,000 fastest-growing independent companies in the U.S.
New York-based Tire Agent is ranked No. 936 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, while Richmond, Va.-based GTT is listed as No. 2,201.
Companies were ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent.
New York-based Tire Agent, which sells tires and wheels through its tireagent.com website, reported a three-year revenue growth of 628%.
Git the Trucking Commercial Tires L.L.C./GTT Commercial Tires, with locations in Petersburg, Portsmouth and Richmond, Va., offers new tires, roadside assistance and tire services for commercial trucks and fleets. Its revenue growth rate was 252% over the past three years.
Other automotive/tire-related privately held companies on the list include:
- No. 2,843 — Take 5 Oil Change of Greenville, S.C., with a 187% growth rate; and
- No. 3,605 — Accelerated Fleet Services of Saginaw, Texas, a provider of fleet maintenance and repair service solutions for diesel truck and trailers, with a 133% growth rate.
