PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — TBC Corp. recently raised nearly $170,000 for the American Heart Association to fight heart disease and stroke.
Megan Filoon, chief human resources officer for TBC, headed the effort as co-chair for the 2024 Palm Beach County Heart Walk. Around 110 employees from the Palm Beach Gardens-based company walked alongside colleagues, friends, family members and neighbors to raise awareness and funds for the Heart Association.
The money will be used to further health education, community programs, research and more. TBC was the top fundraising company at this event.
As a national Heart Walk team, TBC employees from West Palm Beach to Kansas City raised funds through a series of company-wide initiatives, exceeding the company's fundraising goal.
