TAMPA , Fla. — RNR Tire Express (RNR) locations are donating more than 3,000 backpacks and school supplies as children head back to school this fall.
After donating 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need in 2018, RNR said it was continuing the tradition this year at RNR Tire Express stores across the country. Any family in need was welcome to stop into select locations to receive backpacks filled with back-to-school supplies, including notebooks, paper, pens and markers.
"Giving back is at the core of our brand. RNR offers more than just affordable tires, we are always searching for ways to look out for one another, serving our customers and making a positive impact in our communities across the nation," said Larry Sutton, founder and president of RNR Tire Express.
"We recognize just how much parents sacrifice for the success of their children and we are honored to have the opportunity to ease the pressure of the back-to-school season for families who need it."
This is the fifth year that RNR Tire Express franchisees have participated in the charitable back-to-school initiative started by franchisee Rental Concepts L.L.C. of Springdale, Ark.
The RNR franchise network has more than 124 locations in 24 states.
