RNR Tire awarded for Father's Day Giveaway promotion

    TAMPA, Fla. — RNR Tire Express earned recognition for its promotional campaign for its recent 2022 Father's Day Giveaway, an annual program to honor deserving fathers around the country.

    Franchise Update Media awarded RNR Tire Express with the "Best Limited Budget Campaign Award" during its 5th annual Franchise Innovation Awards contest.

    The goal of the awards is to identify and recognize franchisors creating and implementing the most original and successful innovative strategies and tactics to build their brand.

    During this year's Father's Day Giveaway, RNR awarded the grand prize, an Indiana Jones-styled, all-expense-paid trip to Disneyland, to Efrim Johnson of Michigan, a former U.S. Marine, volunteer firefighter, corrections officer and a father of two.

    He started a program through the family's church in 2014 called Men on a Mission that connects fathers and sons with widows throughout the region in need of home repairs and services.

    For several years RNR has been celebrating Mother's Day and Father's Day by seeking nominations from the community for outstanding mothers and fathers to receive free sets of tires and new vehicles.

    "Each of our national campaigns utilize the in-house creativity and innovation that RNR has become known for. And maybe more importantly, this recognition reaffirms our unwavering commitment to our valued franchisees, customers and the communities we proudly serve," Candace Lovett, RNR's national marketing director, said.

    "Words fall short in describing what a privilege it is to receive this award, we love what we do and as our brand continues to grow and take root in new communities across the country, we're eager to put that innovation and one-of-a-kind 'Serve, not Service' approach to work."

    A jury of judges evaluated the innovation, objectives and results of more than 150 entrants and 22 winners were chosen from among the four categories: marketing and branding, products and services, operations and human resources.
