BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec — The Point S Canada franchise network of independent tire and automotive service dealers has struck a deal to partner with the National Hockey League's (NHL) Montreal Canadiens for the 2021 spring season.
The partnership will provide Point S dealers with visibility during Montreal Canadiens games in their home arena, the Bell Centre, as well as at away games and in the auto centers.
"We are thrilled to provide this additional visibility to our stores with one of the world's most prestigious sports brands," Patrick Lavoie, vice president, marketing and communications, said.
"The partnership will also foster interactions with Montreal Canadiens fans in our auto centers."
The Canadiens are one of the "Original Six" teams dating back to the founding of the NHL. The storied franchise has won 24 Stanley Cups, the last in the 1992-93 season.
The 2020–21 NHL season was reduced to 56 games because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and during the regular season Canadian teams are playing only other Canadian teams because of the closed border between the U.S. and Canada. The season began on Jan. 13
