GREENVILLE, S.C. — Michelin North America Inc., in partnership with Ram Trucks, is reaching out to farmers and ranchers throughout the U.S. with a series of rebate offers on a variety of Michelin- and BFGoodrich-brand farm, light truck, and medium truck tires.
Specifically, Michelin has allied itself with Ram Trucks' Ram AgPack program, a benefits package the FCA USA L.L.C. division created two years ago for customers who buy a truck from a certified, elite agriculture dealership.
The program's goal is to save farm and ranch customers thousands of dollars after they purchase a truck on products and services they can use in running their business.
Michelin, which joins a group of nine other vendors that participate in the Ram AgPack program, is offering rebates on select purchases that could add up to as much as $4,100.
Among the products eligible are:
- Michelin-brand agriculture, light truck, bias-ply telehandler and forklift tires and Tweel airless tire/wheel units for skid-steers, UTVs, ATVs, mowers and golf carts; and
- BFGoodrich-brand light and commercial truck tires.
The Ram AgPack program bears some similarities to the BFGoodrich Tires Tradesmen Support Program that Michelin launched a year ago in partnership with a half dozen trade associations that represent individuals who work in construction, agriculture, landscaping and other trades that rely heavily on pickup trucks.
Other vendors participating in the Ram AgPack program include Farm Credit, AgDirect, Rhino Ag products, Dixie Chopper, NK Seed, AgroLiquid Crop Nutrition, Reinke irrigation system, Gallagher livestock products and Eby truck bodies and upfits.
