CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Meineke Car Care Centers has created a "profitability portal" to help its franchisees track key financial and operational metrics in real time, a function that will allow them to benchmark their businesses against their peers and network averages.
Through the new Meineke Profitability Portal, franchisees receive monthly financial performance metrics comparing them to key benchmarks, allowing them to focus on specific areas for improvement and link that information to action plans to address areas that need improvement, the Driven Brands Inc. business unit said.
With the support from the Meineke operations team of coaches, the franchisee and coach can work together to execute an improvement plan, bringing performance and profitability back in line with expectations, Meineke said.
Ben Leffell, franchise partner in Morningside Texas Holdings — owner of nine Meineke centers in Texas — said, "Meineke is a data-driven brand. They provide us with the tools to collect data and use it to help enhance our business. That's the kind of support multi-store owners need to be successful."
Meineke is seeking single- and multi-unit franchise owners to expand the brand's footprint.
Founded in 1972, Meineke has more than 800 centers that service approximately 3 million cars a year.
