DANA POINT HARBOR, Calif. — Freedom Tire Distributing recently treated a group of its leading dealers to a day of deep-sea fishing off the southern California coast.
The event, the ninth annual such outing, was sponsored by Mastercraft-Century, according to Corona, Calif.-based Freedom Tire.
A group of dealers had a "great day of fishing" aboard the private charter fishing boat The Fury, Freedom CEO Tom Hofmann said. Several blue fin tuna were caught during the expedition.
Hofman said dealers look forward to the event every year.
"We have been fortunate and always seem to catch a good day of fishing," Hofmann said.
Plaques were given to dealers for five and 10 years of participation in the program at an awards ceremony afterward.
"We have great group of dealers, Hofmann said. "This trip gives everyone a chance to unwind, and our salespeople a chance to bond with our customers."
Freedom opened for business in 2005, becoming one of Southern California's top Mastercraft distributors for the last 16 years.
Freedom also distributes Arisun, Cooper, Haida, Hankook, Landgolden, Mickey Thompson, Nexen, Roadmaser, Starfire, Toyo and Triangle brands.
