Former Car-X franchise now Xpress Pro Tire & Auto

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A Cincinnati-based Car-X Tire franchise is now operating independently as Xpress Pro Tire & Auto with more than 25 locations across Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

The female-run and family-owned and -operated business is under the leadership of Pallavi Gorrepati with other members of the Gorrepati family holding leadership roles, the company said.

Gorrepati said she has "made it her mission to provide assurance and transparency to female customers under her leadership."

The business, which offers tires as well as automotive services, has been part of the Gorrepati family for 40 years. The dealership said it will focus on customer satisfaction and community engagement.

Monro Inc. owns the Car-X Tire franchisee program, which it purchased in 2015. Since then, Monro has taken over a handful of Car-X Tire franchisees, including:

• nine locations in Iowa from Mark Goldner;
• Eight locations in Illinois and Indiana from Auto MD L.L.C., August 2017;
• One store in Indiana from NTI L.L.C., July 2016;
• Four stores in Minnesota from Task Holdings Inc. and Autopar Inc., July 2016;
• Three stores in Illinois and Indiana from an unnamed Car-X franchisee during fiscal 2016; and

There still are 50-plus Car-X TIre outlets in operation, including 32 in the Chicago metro area and 20 in the St. Louis metro area.
