SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA) has launched its consumer-focused tire-buying website BuyLocalTires.com.
The site, powered by B2B platform developer TireTutor Inc., allows customers to search for tire dealers, buy tires and schedule installation appointments, as well as provides access to real-time tire inventory from select tire dealers.
All CTDA members are listed on the site for free and can upgrade the features of their listing — such as enabling real-time inventory — by purchasing enhanced listing packages offered by TireTutor.
"Providing a means to drive customers to our members has been something that CTDA has envisioned for quite some time, and TireTutor has been the perfect partner to help accomplish that goal," CTDA Executive Director Marc Connerly said.
"We hope that one day BuyLocalTires.com will be as much of a household name as similar aggregated sites in the travel, home improvement and other industries."
The CTDA disclosed plans for the site last June, calling the online tire marketplace "a game-changer" for the trade group and its members.
CTDA is offering non-members a free one-year limited membership that will allow them to be displayed on the site with no out-of-pocket expense. Interested dealers can email Connerly at [email protected] or TireTutor's Sonny Cooper at [email protected] or call 781-664-0565.
CTDA has scheduled a free webinar to demo the website to tire dealers on April 11 at noon Pacific Daylight Time. Register for the webinar at bit.ly/BuyLocalTires.
