The 25th annual BTS Boys and Girls Homes charity golf tournament hosted 232 golfers at the Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, N.C.
SANFORD, S.C. — Black's Tire & Wheel Distributors (BTS) recently held another successful charitable golf tournament to support the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina.
BTS raised $175,402 at its 25th annual BTS Boys and Girls Homes charity golf tournament. Two additional scholarships worth $3,500 were also raised.

According to Ricky Benton, II, Black's Tire VP sales and marketing, the event was a "another huge success," thanks for the major sponsors, hole sponsors, players and customers who made donations to the charity throughout the year.
A total of 232 golfers participated in the event, held at the Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, N.C., near Fayetteville.
The charity supports abused, neglected and abandoned children to help them become productive members of the community. The founder of Black's Tire, W. Crowell Black, was among the charity's original board of directors members.
