WAUKEGAN, Ill. — Atturo Tire Corp. is partnering with MFA Oil Co. to sell its line of passenger and light truck tires in 36 Big O Tires franchise locations operated by MFA in Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri.
"Atturo Tire has a great lineup of car, light truck and SUV tires that will provide our customers with more options to fit their needs," Charlie Alexander, vice president of MFA's Big O Tires operations, said.
Atturo Tire inventory will arrive at the Big O Tire locations throughout the three-state area in the next couple of months, the companies said.
"This partnership means Atturo customers throughout the Midwest will have easier access to our off-road, performance and specialty tire options," Karl Becker, Atturo's vice president of sales and operations, said.Becker said.
All locations will have access to Atturo's inventory from the company's warehouse locations around the country.
Columbia-based MFA Oil is a farmer-owned cooperative that supplies fuels, lubricants and propane to its 40,000-plus member customer in Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
It's been a Big O Tires franchisee since 1998, originally in a 50/50 partnership with TBC. MFA bought out TBC's share in 2015.
MFA last year MFA added 13 Big O Tires stores in the Kansas City, Mo., metro area that were operated by Big O Tires franchisor TBC Corp.
