INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Tire Centers, dba Best-One of Indy and Best-One of Columbus, has donated $9,055 to three local humane societies as part of the dealership's inaugural Treads for Tails campaign.
During the month of April, Best-One of Indy's nine locations and Best-One of Columbus donated a percentage of their tire sales, and customers were encouraged to purchase a Paw Print sign for a $1 donation.
The combined donation was distributed to Bartholomew County Humane Society in Columbus, Ind. ($1,160); IndyHumane Society in Indianapolis ($6,772); and Kokomo Humane Society in Kokomo, Ind. ($1,123)
"Possessing a servant's attitude is one of our four core values," said Trula Womack, Best-One of Indy's director of marketing and brand excellence. "This attitude was proudly demonstrated by our internal and external raving fans. It's very rewarding to work for a company that wants to help our communities, and to see our team members and customers come together to help our local humane societies is incredible."
The dealership is part of the Best-One network that has more than 250 locations in 26 states.
