WHITEVILLE, N.C. — More than 700 dealers were registered for BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors' "Be the 1 in 2021" virtual conference, which was held March 4-6.
According to BTS — the wholesalearm of Black's Tire & Auto Service — the conference for BTS partner dealers and wholesale customers across the Carolinas was an opportunity to provide an open forum with dealers. A large part of the conference was devoted to working together and finding ways to attract and retain future auto technicians.
"We at BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors always try to maintain our family values and culture with our customers," the company said.
Among the topics discussed were retail, phone and product training; retail and commercial solutions; and new programs. The conference included motivational speakers as well.
Tire Business Editor Don Detore presented a snapshot look at the tire and automotive service industry during the event.
On March 19, BTS will host the 21st annual BTS Boys & Girls Home charity golf tournament at the Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, S.C.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina Inc., whose mission is to provide an array of residential and community-based services to meet the needs of children by addressing their physical, emotional, social, educational and spiritual development.
Donations are being accepted. Checks should be made payable to Black's Tire and mailed to BTS Charity Golf Tournament, PO Box 919, Whiteville, N.C. 28472.
