Letter to the Editor: Insurance coverage may be an issue

I read Don Detore's recent column in Tire Business (June 8, 2020, Page 6). Check your insurance policy. Most business insurance does not "cover" civil insurrection, read that as riots. You were right to protect your store. The dilemma arises after your actions.

You have no idea how your customers will react to your efforts to protect your property. This is a crazy world today; common sense and common decency are no more.
