ROVERTO, Italy — Massimo De Alessandri, former CEO of the Marangoni Group, died unexpectedly on July 19. He was 58.
According to Marangoni, De Alessandri served as chairman of Marangoni Group subsidiaries Eurorubber Spa (2011-16), Pneusmarket Spa (2001-16) and Marangoni Tread Spa (2003-09). He joined the group in 1987, ending a 30-year career in 2017.
He also was managing director of Marangoni Tyre Spa (2004-17) and director of Marangoni Meccanica Spa (2008-17).
Marangoni also said De Alessandri held positions with the Plastic Rubber Federation, ETRMA (European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers Association) and Ecopneus Scpa, where he was also president in 2014.
DeAlessandri has served as president of the Dolomiti Energia Group since 2018.
Marangoni Group said DeAlessandri's contributions will remain rooted in the company's memory.
Vittorio Marangoni, chairman of the Marangoni Group, said, said the De Alessandri's passing "has shocked the company as well as the family. There are no words for such a circumstance; we all join in the grief."
