FORT MILL, S.C. — Zurcher Tire Inc., which services nine states across the Midwest, will serve as the latest distribution partner for agricultural tires manufactured by Continental Tire North America L.L.C.
The products that Zurcher will distribute include Conti's Tractor70, Tractor85, TractorMaster and CombineMaster.
Monroe-Ind.-based Zurcher Tire, which was founded in 1948 to serve the ag community, operates 10 distribution centers.
Matthew Futrelle, head of sales and marketing for the Americas for Continental Commercial Specialty Tires segment, called the Zurcher family "a cornerstone of the U.S. tire industry, and we look forward to growing our agriculture business together.
"With their expertise in the farming industry, large Midwest footprint and ability to deliver in many cases, same day, to our mutual customers, they are a perfect fit for Continental."
Carson Cornelius, chief development officer at Zurcher Tire, called the partnership with Continental "an opportunity to get a premium product into the hands of our valued customers. They are facing extreme forces every day. Getting the farmer a product that will provide peace of mind is our responsibility, and offering Continental farm tires allows them to feel confident in what they have on their tractors."
The entire list of Continental brand radial agriculture tires is available from the dealer's local Zurcher location, found here.
Earler this year, Mr. Cornelius told Tire Business that ag tires account for one-third of Zurcher's business.
